Flight Adventures offers the public an opportunity to sit in the captain's seat and experience what it's like to pilot a commercial jet aircraft. On Arrival
On arrival at Flight Adventures you will have a full preflight briefing with your own personal instructor and then make your way to the Flightdeck. With 10,000 airports to choose from in our extensive database, there is a flight to suit everyone, from novice to experienced pilot alike.
Strapped into the Captain's seat, feet on the rudder pedals, one hand on the throttle, and the other on the control column. The tension mounts as you wait for clearance to take-off. With permission granted from Air Traffic Control, you advance the throttles and your Boeing 737 hurtles down the runway
as you slowly rotate and take-off. Climbing initially to 3000ft before banking and heading towards your destination. As you climb out you manage to sneak a peak of the stunningly realistic scenery below, one eye on the airspeed, altitude and heading. The other, watching out for traffic and monitoring the amazing array of dials and instruments that you are surrounded by - this is definitely not a game.
